We stopped at a layby just before Tulle to drop off a bag of rubbish.
There are almost always cars parked there with one person in the car.
Today a car did a drive through without stopping.
Do certain laybys have other things going on in them in France.
Laybys in France are they also pick up zones

There's one near St Junien which I think is frequented by gay men. But every other week there's a load of Brits picking up shopping there from Mouse2House!

Really ??
I lived there for over 20 years and never noticed that !
Which lay by ?
The only place I have seen it on a regular basis is the back road from Narbonne to à Perpignan.

It's off the St Junien bypass (which may not have been there when you lived in the area) heading towards Limoges. M2H certainly weren't delivering there until the past 10 or so years, so you would perhaps have had to have been gay to call in there ...........

I moved away two years ago. We lived opposite the river going into the town and we had a large lay by opposite which was always quite ‘busy’ so maybe it was that one ?Veem wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 6:48 pmIt's off the St Junien bypass (which may not have been there when you lived in the area) heading towards Limoges. We came across a website by chance one day which was a list of pick-up places in each department. Paris was full of bars and nightclubs (with the odd supermarket thrown in) the poor souls in our patch were stuck with lay-bys, parkings in isolated spots and the like. Not much fun at -15.
