It looks like a large coffee in the cup but after conducting a scientific test (small teaspoon)
The cup must have a high bottom.

If that was the coffee as served isn't it a 'standard' coffee size (un café svp) in a large cup and at €1.70 that's a fair price?

We had coffee beside the sea in Royan earlier this week and they charged us 3€50 each
....and we didn't even get a petite galette with it!

Christ! How the other half lives.For that price I could buy a pack of the most wonderful fair trade coffee grown on a specific slope of some inaccessible mountain and picked by virgins.

If you had a petit crème .. i.e an espresso in a medium cup plus a small jug of (hot) milk on the side then 1.70€ is a most reasonable price. But then I noticed a biscuit in your photo .. so we would be asked to pay around 2€ or more to include that.
