20 years ago we saw a house we liked in West Witton, North Yorkshire. Biggest attraction was it was bang opposite the local pub, THE FOX & HOUNDS. However, looking around from outside before contacting the Estate Agents we saw what resembled a coloured glass church window that lit up the staircase inside. This thing caused the building to be Grade II listed. It had been up for sale for 7 years! No one with any sense gets involved with these money grabbing buildings.
