But that's why 50%+ of Americans love him so much. Why worry about reading problems? He's just like them, but he's rich too. So they could be rich as well.

That explains it a bit but I don't understand why people don't want someone they can have a bit of respect for. I want (need?!) politicians to be intelligent and preferably not rich. Americans are weird!

See the new Biden advert. It’s very sharp and to the point and has already rattled Trumpy. Why, because it about the economy. How Trumpy inherited a growing economy from Obama and Biden and, like other things he’s inherited Trumpy has destroyed it.

Is that true though? And was it ever so?
He only won 46% of the vote in 2016 and he's no more popular now. The most recent polls would bear that out.

It is easy to be misled by our so-called democratic system of voting.
Remember only 17.4 million people voted in favour of Brexit out of a population of something like 60 million.
You don't have to have a proper majority to win a vote these days.
