Having been born & raised in Crawley & now living where I do in France has its advantages, anywhere I visit is an improvement

I am not very keen on these sort of threads. They tend to be used to stir up bad feeling or make digs and score points
Don't take mine seriously Elizabeth. Not the UK part anyway. I've never been anywhere in the UK that I wouldn't go back to. Except Blackpool. And that's because my last visit erased all the previous good memories.
I struggled to find 5 in France.

So why bother to type it if it's not meant to be taken seriously?

Perhaps you ought to note whether you would like posts to be taken seriously or not, then everyone could understand what you’re on about - or not.

I took it as yet another example of your hatred of England.

Where's your outrage at the constant jock bashing. It was a joke. And why did you wait until I clarified and said the absolute contrary. I understand that when you lose one of your senses the others compensate. Perhaps in your case your loss of sense of humour is being compensated by your sense of self righteousness. Where have I ever said I hate England?

Says somebody blind to the fact that they've just jumped on another bandwagon.
