What do you take for a sore throat

Post by mysty »

This woman ended up in hospital, another good reason to avoid eating raw fish and meat. ;)
I was reading on FB about Brits that were excited that you could buy sushi in a Gueret supermarket.

I never eat raw fish anyway, but that’s a dreadful thing to happen. 🤮

For a sore throat I use a salt water gargle or Echinaforce Sore throat spray.

Perhaps those Brits enjoy vinegared rice for that is what sushi is. Perhaps they eat their sushi with fruit and vegetables. No need for raw fish or meat if you want to eat sushi.

Strepsils every time. However, cannot remember the last sore throat/cold that I had.

Secondary nicotine and cheap vodka in a noisy pub usually does it for me. To soothe a sore throat, a hot toddy.

If you've got a sore throat, why don't you suck a Fisherman's Friend ?

What do you do if the fisherman is billy-no-mates?

Half a tumbler of water half a teaspoon of borax, half a teaspoon of iron filings, an egg-cup full of bleach and then garggle with the mixture.
If that does not work try adding some ground glass.

This is one of the courses we had in Japan at a wedding, no "vinigared rice" or worms in sight thank goodness
