This and one other. No twitter. No facebook.
Maybe an ancillary question - who uses same usernames on multiple forums to assist others identify them. I know wilbro does, as do I. Others?

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS
I used to be on the now defunct Brittany Friends forum as a mod and helped set up the Brittany WI forum and was a mod on that too. So glad not to be a mod anymore (some right nutters out there) and now look in on UIB and this one. Did join GOGIF’s for a while too. Am on Twitter and Facebook too. Am now in contact with lots of old school mates via Facebook which is great.

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS
This one for general French info and UIB for the classifieds and news local to me.-I look in twice a day. Several other special interest ones like, computer stuff, Hi Fi speaker building, custom car stuff, and record collecting.- I look in maybe every day or three. No involvement with Twatter or Fartbook.
Visit historic Barnard Castle. Lockdown day trips now available.

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS
3 others apart from this... The one run by our Union which I probably visit twice a day ATMLoup-garou wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 2:53 pm
So, I ask, how many do visit other forums and, if you do, do you visit them daily or less frequently? For the avid forum frequenters, do you do an allé retour of the forum sites in a sitting or do you split visits throughout the day/week?
Just interested.

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS
Other forums:
one railway related
One model railway related
One other French life related but without a lot of the "back in the UK" issues. Nothing wrong with discussing that*, it just has another centre of interest.
* I do it all the time

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS
How could I forget you? But I was thinking more of current forums rather than old and new.
As for Andy - TheLastOneOut - Exile - AndyH4 - a joke:
After being diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, I phoned my boss to tell him I'd need time off to get accustomed to it.
"You're self-employed you stupid bastard," I said.

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS
Thanks for all the replies.
I generally look at the Forum in the morning with a cup of coffee (I drink lots of coffee!) before 10.00 am. I will probably look briefly in the afternoon when taking a break and, if there is a thread which rouses high spirits, I may look in more frequently. More often I miss them as I don't look or post after apero'clock.
The Facebook thing is a bit if a dilemma in that there were some animal rescue places that you could only access via Facebook. I decided it was for them to be more accessible rather than me registering. My sister sends me news/funny clips that I frequently can't access because she's found them on Facebook.
I did like your comment Stompie " I pop in a couple of times a day, depending on what's going on - either in real life or in TNFF world."
I'm in now because I've just returned from taking two dogs to the vets.

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS
Only this one never signed up for FB or Twitter. I used to look at French Entree and signed up was never able to log in - there was always a problem so just read the posts instead which is how I knew FE was closing and TNFF was starting up!
