I'd happily live ON Great Britain but not IN the UK. I hope as I have done for the past 30 or so years that the UK ceases to exist in its present form.
Re: Would You Live In The UK Again?
I have to say the UK is becoming more and more difficult to understand and to feel at home in.
Same old nonsense.

Moved back 12/09/2019 (having had a holiday home in Brittany for 18 years used for 183 days per annum). Not regretted it once.

But you moved back to a decent part of the UK. Mostly when people are talking about UK on here they mean SE England and forget that places like North Yorks, the Highlands and Islands, the Borders, Snowdonia, Fermanagh etc are in the UK but completely unlike Greater London and the SE.Bald Eagle wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 11:49 amMoved back 12/09/2019 (having had a holiday home in Brittany for 18 years used for 183 days per annum). You're welcome, although once you're here you'll need to agree to spell independent the Scottish way.
Re: Would You Live In The UK Again?
You might have missed it but the United kingdom is independent and broke. It's never been deeper in debt than it is now and April the deficit was the highest monthly figure ever.
Do you know the major anti Scottish government story on the BBC today. It fell 10% short in its tree planting target in the last 12 months.
Not "It achieved 90% despite of a pandemic and lockdown"
The first B in BBC stands for British. That might explain why you and the likes of you are so ignorant of facts.
