Then this is going to interest you, a 100 euros is being offered.

Can we get the cheque if we just stay at OH's derelict house down there without staying at a hotel? That would be sticking to the social distancing and self catering would keep us out of any restos. Win Win.
Visit historic Barnard Castle. Lockdown day trips now available.

The article says sleeping two nights but doesn’t specify where in the article but wouldn’t think going to a second home would qualify given they want you to eat out and visit some ‘site’ which I would think would mean paying to go in somewhere unfortunately Aardvark. But you could always ask :D

€100 seems poor reward for being lynched by the locals who think you are carrying the virus!

Quite a few seem to have spent their confinement here, unnoticed.

We noticed it in Brittany. A 4% rise in population during the confinement

I was thinking that now is the perfect time for the gendarmes to home in on brits driving UK registered cars, because in theory, at the moment there shouldn't be a single car in France with a UK number-plate.

So happy together: résidence principale in France, tax payer in France, car with UK licence plate in France.
