Can we get the cheque if we just stay at OH's derelict house down there without staying at a hotel? That would be sticking to the social distancing and self catering would keep us out of any restos. Win Win.

The article says sleeping two nights but doesn’t specify where in the article but wouldn’t think going to a second home would qualify given they want you to eat out and visit some ‘site’ which I would think would mean paying to go in somewhere unfortunately Aardvark. But you could always ask

I was thinking that now is the perfect time for the gendarmes to home in on brits driving UK registered cars, because in theory, at the moment there shouldn't be a single car in France with a UK number-plate.
