My take on this is that 1AS etc is for french pensions. For UK pensions I use 1AL 1AM etc Bon Chance!It''s worked for me for the last decade... Bon chance..

Thank you, That explains it. I will try 1AL/1AM. My copy of last year's form had the figure added manually by me in 1AS, looks like a put it in the wrong box on the copy after I adjusted it on line.

Tax forms now amended and hopefully correct. My apologies, if you have repeated yourselves for me. I go into a blind panic every year, I do not know why. Even with the help of the BH Assurances guide, which somebody kindly posted, I still managed to overlook the instructions, which were very clear, as to where to put the figures on form 2042. So thank you once again.
