Another day in paradise, fed the birds but they are not up yet. Gone back to bed.

Best bin the chocolate and biscuits, plus all sugar!
A visit to a GP seems a good idea....My sugar levels are kept under control by "Metformine" and NO sugar intake, apart from Red wine.

Noooo.... just a choccy before I go to bed. No other sugar in the day. I don’t drink much, and certainly not every day.
They’ve tried all sorts of medication but I have bad reactions to all of them, so really keep close tabs on what I eat. I’m not prepared to suffer the side effects of metformin. That’s the worst. Though others aren’t pleasant either. Luckily I seem to be ok apart from the odd blip.

"Metformine"...Side effects,I have none apart from no booze in the evening which causes vomiting. Gliclazide is also good, diabetes can lead to blindness and amputations....Take care......NO sugar!

A friend and a friend’s husband both had to have amputations due to their diabetes, really terrible. Neither of them lived much longer, both became very depressed, having been cheery souls. Diabetes is a terrible thing.
