Civil Service Pensions

Post by SP1DER »

I recently received a letter from MyCSP "Declaration of Entitlement" which has to be completed and returned within six weeks or risk suspension of pension. I don't have a problem with this however the letter was dated 24th December 2019 and was received on 24th January 2020, nearly 5 weeks after the posting date! By the time the forms are completed and returned in the post the 6 weeks grace period would have expired.

I sent my forms back via email but knowing the incompetence of MyCSP I can see that remaining in someone's inbox for a week or so. If you are in receipt of a CS pension and get one of those forms be sure to check the date on the letter!

exactly the same for my wife - dated 24 December. We also replied by email. Probably everybody's dated the same!

Did either of you get straight on the phone to ring them and explain the situation? That would have been my immediate reaction.

Ironic.
What's Ironic about that? I know you are from up north but are you sure you understand the English language? Meantime you keep showing yourself up for what you are. I'm happy with that.

I find it ironic that you were a CIVIL servant.
Why does where I come from matter? Exposing more of your dark character?

What's Ironic about that?
That a retired civil servant is admonishing the incompetence of civil servants? Beats me.

And so it should. MyCSP is a pension administrator (private sector company) and they are not Civil Servants.

Still don't understand why you say Ironic. I think I preferred you telling jokes instead of becoming one.
