So, I was led into my first error and made the answer 17. My second mistake gave me a total of 30. Finally I reckoned that it might be 22 or else it's unsolvable!!  :?

Whoops - classic error of going too fast.
On relooking I agree with some other replies .. 60 is my best and final offer ☺

25 if you use the convention whereby you multiply the 2 numbers first as if they were in brackets

15 if you use the mathematical convention where numbers with x are multiplied first as if they were in brackets. 60 if not

15.

BODMAS

No brackets, no orders (powers/roots) so the multiplication takes place first followed by the addition.

Although I probably screwed up on the first 3 equations

If I got it right then the title is a good one!
