Disgusting, who eats baked beans with breakfast?
Quite right, hate baked beans, although I have had baked beans in America made with molasses and smoky and they were pretty good but only one dimensional so you get bored of them after a couple of forks.

Now here's my thing and I know there are a few like me, I love a cooked breakfast, love a fried egg, love tinned toms, but they can never touch on the plate, I have a system where I will eat the toms on some buttered toast with loads of black pepper (brown sauce or Worcestershire sauce if available), making sure all the tom juice has gone before I will attempt the egg.

Anyone else ?

I thought this might have been about lemovan sending topless pics again
I don’t send topless pics but now you mention it could you ask ATS if the photo of the head I sent her looked like a large plum or a decent sized tangerine.

To add some balance my 85 year old mother has never had any takeaway apart from fish and chips nor ever eaten the following - curry, pasta, pizza, Mexican or Chinese etc. I was brought up on a Sunday morning fry-up of bacon, eggs and fried bread but now have this as an evening meal.

Most young Brits would rather tuck into smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, smashed avocado on toast and oatmeal pancakes

Tinned baked beans are only edible when served with a Scotch pie and chips. Proper Boston baked beans with pork, tomatoes, molasses and so on before being slow cooked are absolutely delicious.
For me, a perfect cooked breakfast is bacon, fried egg and tomato eaten with toast and marmalade. A tattie scone doesn't go wrong either.

I used to love plain potato scone and butter that was a lifetime ago.

Bacon, 2 eggs, sausage, potato farl and baked beans. All fried except the beans. Ketchup on the farl. Two thick slices of wheaten bannock, Dromona butter and homemade marmalade. Tea for the grown-ups and dilute orange juice from the Ormeau Bakery van (I know, makes no sense to me either) for me.

And people wonder why the life expectancy in NI is so low!

OH now gives me a big bowl of hamster food with semi-skimmed milk.
