:? How can it possibly cost half a million quid to bong the Big Ben bell twelve times? The hammer only weighs 200kg and it's mounted on a pivot. A reasonably strong person could do the job manually.

Perhaps the Remainers might have an alternative party with, at its heart a guillotine. As the hour approaches, first Mark Francois then, on the stroke of whatever time, Farage might just be shortened by a head.
