Incredible but true, it does not matter if you might have committed a crime if you are the Prime minister. Any commoner would be stuffed

It might not happen tomorrow, next month or next year, but like Trump, Boris Johnson will eventually fall from grace with a bang.

Why is it that when I have to get yet another Criminal Record Disclosure (it's blank to answer that question) that I have to get it from Disclosure Scotland and the Scottish Police?
I'm intrigued. Is the vetting by DC and SP in addition to another? Is it the French authorities who are asking for it? Did you at one time live in Scotland?
Gone to better place, which, quite frankly, could be anywhere.

Seven MPs have been to prison in the past 10 years. How does that compare with forum members? 😄😄😄
I haven't been to prison in the last 10 years.
I have, two of them, both in France, in fact i am spoilt for choice if I want free lodgings, one is 20 minutes East of where I live and the other 25 minutes West.

the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) officials agreed not to announce whether they were going to investigate “possible criminality” over allegations about a conflict of interest in Johnson’s dealings while mayor of London with US businesswoman Jennifer Arcuri until after the election.

Of course it might not be what you are thinking, they might have already found that there is no case to answer and nothing to investigate so decided instead to leave him with a cloud over his election campaign

I'm not a gambler but if I was I would not put any money on it.

It is required more by UK employers - I was asked for it for work in London and OH for work in Suffolk - overseas ones ask for ACRO checks (or did for Doha).

Never lived in Scotland.

It's probably just a way of centralising CRO checks rather than going to local force.
