Anyone having problems with Orange today?

Post by wilbro » Wed Nov 06, 2019 11:27 am

Trying to deal with my e-mails it keeps saying not connected to the internet, occasionally it does go in but it's mostly not working. All other sites and e-mail providers pose no problems it's only orange. Anyone else?

I now am receiving a message to say the service is temporarily interrupted and the teams are working to repair it.

We have not been able to access emails since first thing this morning, the service was "perturbé" this morning, now it is "momentanément interrompu" - is that better than "perturbé"?

Clockwork Orange are in the process of upgrading their mail system to make it more compatible with mobile devices.
We lost all mail updates for 48 hours last week and the resultant system is a pile of excrement for computer users. You will lose a lot of very positive things about the old system - like being able to see the email address of the sender in the header - so being able to throw out the cons and spams without opening the mail.

Progress - one step forward and half a kilometre backwards as far as I am concerned.

@ Fitter: "momentanément interrompu" is much better: nothing for the moment. No false hope. Read a book, walk the dog, finally do something with your to-do list instead of mailing version 68 to yourself as a reminder.

The website of Orange has something to say about this update:
