So how big are they? As big as a cat?
We had chickens for years but never saw one of those. the foxes were bad enough.

Between 40 and 56 cm long with a tail up to 40cm, like a lot of animals and birds their colour can be different according to habitat.
They will go up a 2 metre wire chicken fence with an overhang as if not there. Although we had a lot living near a forest, being nocturnal it was impossible to get a photo

Sheesh that's big, bigger than a cat, more like a fox. And if they can climb too - :shock: More like a cat tnen.
We were in the Gers.
If we kept ours in their run the main pests were magpies which stole the eggs.
