Suggestion. Could we perhaps have another thread for place names? This is beginning to feel not much like french vocabulary.

Viaduc -> Duché

No problem with that idea.
I try not to use place names but, occasionally, they are the only thing that I can find that fits.
Hope you're not confused by this tablet's use of capitals for my posts .. this tablet belonged to my daughter and she set it up to use capitals in all the places she considered to be correct.
I have no idea how to undo whatever option she picked when she set it up originally.

I am in awe of the words you find to post Sue. I do try to go with whatever I know but that can be very limiting and at times I resort to looking up a solution.

I now understand your use of Capitals. Thanks for explaining. You clearly noticed I begin words with lower case unless they are proper nouns. I wonder why so many others tend to give random words a capital as the initial letter. Not that it much matters.

I do it on the basis that the first word in a sentence is normally capitailised, and one-word sentences exist. There's probably a punctuation rule out there that explains what is the 'right' way to do it.

chèrie => rien

Now this one is my tablet .. and it doesn't do capitals unless I force it to .. 😊

Entérine

(My tablet does like starting a post with upper case; sorry if that's annoying)
