To those who have no problem logging in.

Post by After the Storm »

Could you please answer this post if you can log in okay now since the update to see how many are having no problem. I’ve seen plenty of names logged in from members that have never posted so even if you just said “ok” that would be great.
It could also be helpful for others if you say what you had to do if you needed to do anything, such as delete cookies, history, auto fill data etc.
Please don’t post on this thread to say you have a problem, there are a few other threads for that :P where you might find the help you need.
Thanking you in advance

Thanks Catrose.

Copying below what I posted elsewhere re what I did with our iPads, on the laptops (browser IE) just cleared cookies and history.

What I did on my iPads was this, I first went into settings, scrolled down to Safari, clicked that, scrolled down to Clear history and website data and clicked it. I then went back into settings, scrolled to Passwords and Accounts, clicked that, you need to relog in again to get to the next page. I scrolled down to this forums name in the list, clicked that, clicked edit and deleted it. I came out of settings, came back to the forum, clicked log in, typed in username and password, I did not click remember me because I never have done, the box came up asking if I wanted it to save the password, I clicked yes and its worked every time since then.

Thanks Spectre.

Please note everyone, whilst Mike is looking about in the inners of the forum making changes, we all might still get booted off occasionally and have to log in with maybe needing to clear your history etc again.

iPad
iPhone 5s
iPhone 7 plus
iPod touch
Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove

Windows 8 laptop (chrome)
Delete history and cookies

All the above have worked, no need to keep logging on.

I couldn't login (android) until I cleared everything, seems OK now.
Interestingly it recognised when I put in the wrong password despite not letting me in with the correct one!
