Not all of them! What about you can’t have a free one if you voted for Brexit but you can if you didn’t  So that would basically be any English Conservative voter over the age of 65 won’t get a free licence. I think that fits rather well with BJ’s knee jerk reaction way of running things :good:

P.s. I’ve just worked out how to use the emojis (I’m ridiculously slow on techno uptakes) and I’m making up for lost time. I’ll be littering my posts with them like confetti!

TVs rubbish so nobody should pay a licence fee I reckon.
Is there still a radio licence?
They should bring back the dog licence though.

Many older people voted for brexit but many of us voted to stay in the EU.

That's why we had border collies when I was young. A black and white licence was cheaper.

I have chosen #7 Doesn't concern me, I live in France.
 Stompie is right. Surely #7 should be... Pay pensioners the licence fee for enduring the dross churned out by the BBC.

So, at a stroke, you have cancelled my choice. (Is that a way to run a ballroom ?)

I can’t help it! I have to put commas, apostrophes, etc in my text messages (husband’s mobile - I don’t like them). I tried using text speak but it irritated me so much I’ve had to go back to spelling in full. At least it makes my daughters’ laugh.

I noted from a previous thread that ATS doesn’t like exclamation marks! In deference to her I’ve tried to wean myself off them! As you can see, it hasn’t worked, I’ve fallen off the wagon and I’m positively gorging myself on them!

If the BBC can afford to pay Gary Lineker £1.75m a year they obviously have a massive budget surplus. In which case the over 75's should be able to watch TV for free. Seems very mean a bit spirited to take something like that away, or be subject to a degrading means test.
