John McClane in a hostage situation at Headingley couldnae make cricket exciting.

Pleased for the young lad who bowled the last over. It looked as if he'd blown it.
Don’t walk away in silence.

A great F1 live today then the tennis final. Outstanding performance by Djokovic and Federer, both very modest players.

F1 great too , had some interesting moments.

Not interested in cricket, golf, football, but may the best man (or woman) win.

I had intended to watch the cricket but I couldn't take my eyes of the wet paint. And it was still in the tin.
You missed a treat. ;)

No one could ever say that was boring.

Just because the Scots have no sporting heritage don't mock the English. :D

Ooh hang on..Jocky Wilson. he was good at drinking.
I thought the Scots were tossers of cabers

I do believe the Scots like to watch grown men toss their own cabers. :?

It is not really a mainstream sport is it ? Certainly not something you would want to watch live. Or repeated for that matter

I prefer cricket.

The cricket was amazing and unforgettable.

I don't imagine that happening again.

How come I berate a sport and the response is to berate Scotland. Can you see the problem there? O thee of the land of Brexit.

Sometimes Poundlanders can't do better, Ally, so they need to mock.
