Marc Veyrat, the chef with the black hat, lost one of his three Michelin stars earlier this year. He has accused the inspectors of what he perceives to be the most shocking of smears: “They dared to say that we put Cheddar in our souffle of Reblochon, Beaufort, and Tomme!”.
Whether he did or not, this must be about the best possible advertisement for Cheddar cheese.
