‘Only’ 39C at our place in the Gard today, staying in the 30s for the next fortnight, which can be read as up to the end of August, which is why we spend summers in the UK. It was much too hot for gardening yesterday though, 27.4C in the coolest, shadiest part of the garden, where sunlight rarely reaches.

I've never felt so debilitated by heat.
+1

At least this morning when I opened windows just before 6 the air did feel cooler, unlike yesterday morning. So glad it will be cooler tonight and tomorrow only 29. Will be able to work in garden in the shade again. :good:

The amount of dew in the mornings is steadily increasing which usually suggests IMHO that the weather is on the change.

Your skin will go all wrinkly if you just stay in the pool all day.

32C here in Berkshire this afternoon, and extremely humid, stayed indoors most of the day to stay coolish; 24.5C indoors at the moment, never seen it just over 21C.

Still 30° here, I am going to do something insolite and go out for a sundown randonée!
