Electric Avenue is an anagram of 'clever ace's unite' without the 's'. The beginning of the clue is either 'black speak' or a quote of the lyrics from the song 'Electric Avenue'.

:D Off topic but Brixton brings back fond memories. In the mid fifties, as the owner of a dilapidated 250cc Red Panther, I would get off the tube at Brixton and wander down the length of Stockwell Road, visiting the multitude of all those red shops owned by Pride & Clarke.
