I got given a rose today, I keep forgetting they do that here on International Women's Day.
Surely we men should be allowed claim a free Women's Day rose too, on the grounds of equality? :P

Getting the bill for her Bmw, she paid. Everyone is happy, even the dog. He has become a snob and prefers Bmw to an Alfa.

I purchased a new pair of jeans today and have gone down Two sizes in a year - could have got into another size smaller - but I want to be comfortable :good: :good: :good: :good:

A near neighbour called in today to give me the present of a mug she had decorated with various volutes and spindles, she had these screen printed onto the mug and had it fired at her local pottery class, I had done a few favours for her recently, but what a nice gesture, pleased me a great deal.

Went out to the shed to get some chunky wood offcuts; there on an adjacent pile of boards was a roll of worktop edging strip - something that I knew I had, knew I'd need in the next week or so, but didn't know where it was. :good:

Digging out brambles in our UK garden - more chance of having less to do in the garden in May when we’ll be back here.

Getting some gardening done at last, fence chatting with neighbours, removing mole hills as the new sonic device seems to be working.

Is Rose the neighbour?
