Every morning we put food out for the birds near the kitchen door. Today we had a red squirrel sitting there for about 10 minutes having a real good feast - wonderful!

We have loads of red squirrels...the garden is over run with them.

It will soon be time for the babies to come out and play.

Watching our nutter cat rushing around the kitchen climbing up the settee, attacking everything in sight including Mme Mutt & having the fun it should have had as a kitten.
This is the cat who was a 'knocked up' stray at about 8 months of age, gave birth under a hedge & was adopted by us from the SPA when a few months later it was hit by a car, damaged a nerve & lost the use of a leg for a while.
Animals like this bring so much joy to our lives I can't imagine life without 'em.

Excellent, exciting US Moto GP today with Alex Rins on a Suzuki the surprise winner in front of Valentino Rossi, after Marc Marquez crashed out whilst leading by a country mile. Hopefully this means the 2019 Moto GP championship is wide open. C'mon the Dukes.

So much more exciting than today's yawn inducing, processional, predictable Chinese F1 GP, though that's not difficult. How much longer will people be paying very serious money to watch live such dreary stuff?
