Yesterday, morning and evening. Glorious for the end of September.

Europe wins the Ryder Cup, despite the experts' predictions for a comfortable US victory. Don't 'spose the Donald will be pleased though.

It was the greatest US team ever. So great. So Europe scored more - fake news. Who gives a covfefe.

Not a brilliant photo but it shows the return of the hare today after a week's absence. We had thought that it might have been either scared off or shot by the hunters. The board it's sat upon is 70²cms so it's a large creature. This is the area where we supposedly feed and water the birds but it's often taken over by squirrels. However not one of these animals dares to show itself if the hare is present. There are two much smaller hares that we see occasionally but we've only once seen them all at the same time and not exactly together; they seem to live almost totally independent lives.

yabadabadoo - we had our appointment for our CdS permanent this morning and all went very well (better than expected after reading some of the comments on other forums ie UIN & UIB not that we are in either region. It was a very thorough check through all of our documentation and a few questions and took one and three quarter hours in total for the two of us but they were extremely friendly and we left with a document each to cover till the cards are ready for collection - what more can I say especially as we had to get our heads out of our backsides in order to do it.

My husband had the stitches removed from his scalp today - it all looks a bit more normal now. He still has 3 or so weeks to wait for the results of the biopsies.
