I found a letter in my mailbox that must have arrived yesterday. It contained some important odds and ends sent to me by my sister. I sent her a message to let her know it had arrived and she replied ‘that’s quick.’ She sent a second message pointing that she’d posted it on Friday lunchtime in Cornwall when road and rail links to the rest of England were severely restricted.

No longer freezing so hopefully plants no longer struggling. It is raining for the first time in weeks, or so it seems. Strangely, plants in pots were very dry even if frozen.
Perhaps the weather will return to normal now.

Sun was shining, birds are singing their heads off, bees have been buzzing around - hopefully it'll warm up soon and I can get out into the swamp that is supposed to be my garden.

Monsieur L says I fit the profile for his back-to-work Springtime in Paris junket (x4), so just waiting to get my booking references now! 8-)

Also accepted an offer of usual work for June to fill in time between holidays!
