Finding out that TransferWise send monies to France via Ireland so no transfer fees, unlike most other Money changers in the UK.

Interesting. Why then did they charge me £1.90 this morning for a transfer?
I have a problem with smartphones. I need one hand to hold the phone, another to peck/push/and swipe, and another to hold the magnifying glass.

A green woodpecker has become a daily visitor in our garden instead just visiting occasionally; he pecks at the many apples still on the trees but doesn’t stay for long. This morning after pecking at apples he tried eating seed while flapping madly to try to stay on a perch, much as robins do, but he’s much bigger and it looked very tricky. Then he tried reaching the fat balls and ended with a very splashy bath. Lunch preparations came to a total halt while I watched through the binoculars.

Then when our Waitrose delivery arrived the bottle of cognac I’d ordered wasn’t available so they had put in a substitute - a more expensive one, but at the price of the bottle I’d specified. Of course, that’s what they always do if they don’t have what’s been ordered, but that was quite a big difference in price! 😄

Finally found a ball that Bob can't destroy in 10 seconds. It's a Kong make & despite his best efforts this one seems Bob proof.

Buying a net of mussels from Morrisons. Lovely juicy ones that actually have some meat in them. :good:
