Had a tailgate guard made for the car to stop the dogs shooting out like torpedoes when the tailgate's opened. Nice job by a local welder. Its removable on wind-down feet but rigid once in place. I'm quite impressed.

A nice piece of work, jsks, he should go into production.

He used to have a workshop in Holbeach and employed staff to make all sorts of security barriers eg dog kennels, enclosures and car tailgate guards and suchlike.

He now works from his own garage/workshop but only does work for cars and vans.

When I searched for tailgate guards I was shocked to find only one place making them for cars in the UK. Even more surprised that he was only 10 miles away! (Actually there may be others but I stopped looking.)

The sun came out long enough to create sufficient thermals for our resident buzzards to patrol the fields.

That is a very good job. The guy knows his business.

Our little fella rides in the back seat, with his own short dedicated seatbelt tether. The problem is he is so eager to jump in I can't get the door open fast enough and he often jumps headlong into the bottom edge of the door. Ouch! :?
I have a problem with smartphones. I need one hand to hold the phone, another to peck/push/and swipe, and another to hold the magnifying glass.

Had someone looking at a house this morning, it went okay but can't say if we have a sale or not but now heading home which I'm pleased about as just 3 degrees it is a bit nippy.

As long as its not like the buyers I've had in the past that say "We're very pleased with what we've seen. We will discuss it and I'll instruct my solicitor and phone you Monday.

Monday never comes.

Went to check on a holiday home this morning having seen pictures of major flooding close by, couldn't get close enough to physically see the property as all the roads were underwater so we naturally feared the worst, had an email from the owner at lunchtime to say the Mairie had just called and his house was safe, major relief all round.
