£28 pounds for a hacksaw

I have been using the same Eclipse hacksaw for 45 years issued to me as an apprentice, recently I retired it to UK use in favour of a Bahco one with much more blade tension, under a tenner with blades including delivery.

Great price for a Bahco. I'm still making do with my 25 year old Snapon. I've bought running cars for less than I paid for it.

Reading this thread.
I have decided that I am going to hang on to my tools for a bit longer.

Watching a "well endowed" lady jogger go past our house. Err, should I post this or will it upset the sex police on here? Oh beggar it! :D

Closing a kitchen door electric roller blind last night the lights went out & the blind stopped half way down. 'Bugger' thought I, the motor has shorted.
This afternoon a pal turned up & helped me take down the blind to check what motor I needed.
On removing the cover I found a blade had obviously moved a little & chafed the incoming cable a couple of cm from the moulded motor plug shorting earth to neutral.
A quick repair with a soldering iron & heat shrink tubing fixed the problem & about 2 hours from start to finish the thing was working again.
Save me 100€ & a trip to BD Quimper to buy what was the only motor they had in stock which was good as the vet has just departed after removing a piece of stick stuck in our Arab horses mouth & charging us 99€.
The kids are on the ferry back to England & we've got the house back to ourselves so time to relax after a very hectic day. :D

Is that an Arabica or a Robusta?

Edit: I beg your pardon, I missed the 'h'.
