Just heard there will be an episode of Outnumbered tomorrow on BBC. Not only that, but Have I Got News for You recommences tonight and I’ve still got a couple of fingers of Sainsbury’s magnificent 43% proof Blackfriars London Dry Gin left in the bottle, so the weekend’s looking promising.
Bon weekend a tous,
Syd.

I saw a dragon running (slowly) by today.

This young local teacher in his heavy inflated dragon costume has been cheering up people in our area for a few weeks now. He was training for the local half marathon, which has been postponed until November, but decided to continue training.

His aim in running in the half marathon was to raise money to help young people at a local special school, and has now opened a Just Giving page as a wider public has been appreciating his dragon going by.

A cheerful sight and a very good cause. 👏

What was the time delay between applying for the grant and actually receiving it?

How does someone who admits to not paying any tax get a 'bung' from the taxman?

Has Le-Dolly ever posted that they, as a working couple, don't pay tax? I can't find any post to that effect.

Try harder. You've obviously got nothing better to do.
Look in the 1€ house insulation threads or similar when s/he said they had several business, paid no (maybe little) tax on any of them & therefor qualified for shed loads of free insulation.

No idea, but when I was working for Gauthier on the SMIC I never paid any tax, and one year I got a 'rebate' :o

Having been reminded of it on the news tonight, I think it was probably the prime proposed by the government for small businesses: https://www.legifiscal.fr/actualites-fi ... rises.html
