Conformation for disabled access - chambre d'hote

Post by limousinlady » Tue Jul 31, 2018 1:22 pm

My oh has just received a letter from ERP-conforme, which appears to be an official body. The letter states that he must register and provide an agenda for making the house accessible to the disabled. We have two rooms as chambre d'hote under the micro enterprise regime (auto-entrepreneur) in a 13th century house. The bedrooms are upstairs and there is no way that these could be made accessible.

Has anyone else received such a letter and if so what have you done about it if it is impossible to conform. There is no email address or physical address to reply to, just a telephone number.

Advice / knowldgede welcome please.

Throw it in the bin, you are not an ERP.

Établissement recevant le publique.

Only applicable to the likes of you and I if we exceed 5 bedrooms and/or 15 guests, living rooms with sofa beds or fold out beds dont count as chambres.

We got hit hard in my region with this kind of 'threat' to the
point that the Office de Tourism sent everyone a copy and
told us to ignore it. I had telephone calls for months on the
same subject , I stopped listening to them because they were
worryingly convincing! (but its bullxxxt)
Ignore it all and don't worry
