A bell

Post by menomad23 » Mon Mar 05, 2018 9:49 am

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know where I can find a bell that I can put outside my gate for people to ring when they visit, as I have two dogs in the garden and a couple of times by sheer luck I have seen delivery people stood there. Have looked in the Bricostores but no luck. Many thanks.

I often find them at boot fairs. If you have plenty of loot, try a marine chandlers near the coast.

You could also try a garden centre or the garden section of a diy place which is where we got ours.

Hang up an old brake drum & a hammer to bash it or something similar.
A visit to your local scrappy should find something that rings like one.

I tried that one myself. Not one person figured out what to do with it. Hung up a bell and all was well.

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Ah! but did you write "frapper avec le marteau pour attirer l'attention" ?

No mate. I just assumed they could work it out for themselves. Maybe that's where I went wrong.

Why not just a normal doorbell?
