We had a day about the house today, she was on a hoover up the spider mission. The car is loaded up and we are off tomorrow on a renovation adventure, others go on holiday at this time of year.
Its good to be different and not follow the sheep. 8-)
Its too hot to go anywhere anyway.
I agree - who wants to go on holiday in August and have to put up with everybody elses children - not me :good:

We've got it cracked when we go to the Land of Ork.
Everybody else is going south when we go north & vice versa if we time it right.

Hoovered throughout the house, washed hard floors, followed by a trip to the tip/recycling centre with all the garden waste from gardening before the wet weekend.

The compost bins are also full, along with the big brown bin for green waste that's collected every fortnight.

Now sitting with my feet up with a lovely glass of rosé from the Gard before starting supper.

Got to get the plumber back to fix a leak slow drip from a waste pipe. He should have tested that before it got plastered. Brit builders eh :|

We took a Let in Spain last year. The water heater kept blowing fuses. The absent landlord had a new one installed. The problem persisted. There was a leak from one of the water pipes where the water was finding it’s way to the switch which demanded another visit from a plumber and a plasterer. Faulty diagnosis and repair knows no boundaries.
