I hacked back a very long priver and holly hedge which had gone a bit mad, had to hack back an overgrown Cornus alba elegantissima to get in to part of it and the brambles were a menace. I’m attempting to get that part of the garden under some control after 4 years of neglect.

Under an old car in the workshop trying to remove a propshaft which at present has defeated me.

Romantic day planned.
Sitting outside at a cafe then taking her to Leroy Merlin brico depot and a flooring company.
Materials needed for next week.
It's still a day off though :lol:

We had a day about the house today, she was on a hoover up the spider mission. The car is loaded up and we are off tomorrow on a renovation adventure, others go on holiday at this time of year.
Its good to be different and not follow the sheep. 8-)
Its too hot to go anywhere anyway.

I agree - who wants to go on holiday in August and have to put up with everybody elses children - not me :good:
