Being thankful for Debra! Talking me through my titre de sejour application and my online income tax! That woman is marvellous! Now where's that thumbs up thing gone?

Well i thought I was going to be 25 euros richer today but Mr Man did not turn up for a door. Glad I do not have to make a living from selling second hand car parts. Need to move four doors out of the house before she comes back instead of three.

Final panic to get everything completed before first guests for our Gite arrive today. All finished, even managed to put garden flowers in.
It’s been a nightmare this year thanks to the rain. OH cut the grass yesterday and even with a 4x4 ride on mower he was slipping several times. We had to leave the lowest part uncut as it was too dangerous to go down the wet slopes.
Everything looks very nice; I’m thinking of booking it myself now!

Another day of almost nothing I could get used to this. Hot in the Cher today. Even the dog could not be bothered going for a walk.

Not a lot. Going to friends for lunch, then potting up the remainder of my plants so I can getthe patio table scrubber and ready for my guests to eat at in the week.

Nothing so far other than taking the Alfa out for a blast with the roof down and it was enjoyable.

I started cutting the grass as rain is forecast this week and she would like a tidy garden for the grand return. Its hot out there and the lawn is partly cut it looks a bit like a blind person has been cutting there own hair. If we have any blind members who read this I apologise in advance.

Hopefully not a lot of walking. I came on a retreat and we have done an enormous amount of walking up hills and scrambling over rocks and generally testing our bodies. Fine if you’re young ish and fit, but not for old fatties like me. And we’ve done loads of dancing too. Seriously, about 6 hours strenuous activity a day. Too much. I’ll be glad to get home...
