We’ve got our 2 granddaughters aged 3 and 6 over the weekend, had a lovely day out along the Thames, involving playparks, picnics and ice creams in lovely sunshine.

Just had the 6 year old awake and sobbing, so unusual. I thought at first it was the 3 year old crying, as she sometimes wakes up and needs some gentle back massage to send her back to sleep, just like her father when he was little.

BGT just last night you had a pop at me for watching the voice and said you would rather put pins in your eyes, pass the pins please.
You made out as if you were sophisticated and watched proper programs. BGT  not a lot of différence between that and the voice.

Wind you neck in. Each to their own. I dont remember saying or implying what I watched was any more or less sophisticated than what you watched. I like one you like the other AND :|

Dropped our granddaughters off at home, came back home and cooked duck with new potatoes with plenty of mint, carrots and broccoli, accompanied by a pleasant Aussie wine, followed by M&S millionaire’s shortbread dessert.

It’s sunny and 23.2C in the shade in our garden in SE UK with only birds breaking the silence.
