Whe we love them that much we are allowed to cry - not matter what gender :(

Off to the dechetterie in a minute.

Then clean up the grange and give the snooker table a good brush and hoover and open it up for the season. Who needs a swimming pool ?

Watch the Grand Prix.

Teach two elderly French people how to use a chromebook.

Then teach them how to cook spaghetti bolognese.

Then bed.

Another day in the life of ALBF.

The plan was to walk down in the valley, think my hip is up walking downhill instead of taking the car. But my back’s bad; washing machine refused to spin - twice! Dryer couldn’t cope with soggy washing, so hoisted said soggy washing out onto airing rack on the balcony. Not good for my back. Airer then tipped up, dropping washing onto mucky balcony, following heavy rain. Had to lift wretched washing up again.

Can’t wear my TENS machine as I ‘ve developed a sort of allergy to the gel pads. So I’ve decided not to cook today, but having spent a bit much this week I’m not eating out, off for a wander to the traiteur, see what he has to offer today.

At least my aching back means I won’t be cleaning the dirty balcony or the dirty windows. Hours and hours of reading ahead - bliss!
