I had a root canal done today by a pretty young thing who sang while she worked. Can't wait to go back for more once I can afford it. ;)

Travelled from the UK to the Gard. Terrible queue on the car park known as the M25; big crash, involving lorries, fuel on the road and an air ambulance was needed. So sorry for those people involved in the crash.

Luckily we made it to the airport just in time to catch the plane. Now unpacked, been out for supper, feel ready for bed after our early start.

Filling the chase in the bedroom wall where I recessed all the alarm cables, than starting on the skirting boards that will house the sockets and hide the CH pipework.

Heading to work in heavy rain which is not good as that means it could be sleet where we are going :|

Waiting for my car to turn up and debating to go skiing or not.

In the meantime I'm laying a floor.

I really have lost the interest in renovation, decoration or whatever. It is hard work getting motivated after 15 years. :|

Those must be high skirting boards.. Are not sockets 30cm or so off the floor??
