I hope that Demon stays warm in his red outfit, and keep warm yourself.

I’ve just booked for us to fly back to France at the end of next week, so pleased we can finally return. It seems a lot longer than 3 months since we left.

I have just been watching the first part of documentary called Adolf Hitler on the History Chanel.

The parallels with the last two years are striking, though, of course, it could never happen again could it?

Part one covered his time in the army in wwi and his rise to political power, he was in prison for a year or so.16 attempts to assassinate him, assassinations directed by him, his cohorts, It was too detailed for me to remember everything.

This looks like it
https://www.history.com/topics/world-wa ... f-hitler-1

just a tad discomforting perhaps.

Had an impromptu tea party, put an annonce on Fb and a couple of local groups. 10 people turned up. We had a great time, i’ve Acquired a couple of bottles of fizz, and all the cakes I’ve made are still sitting on the table because everyone brought stuff.
