I will look out for that.

I will coincidently be on TV this summer as a guest presenter for 'A place in the Sun'.

I will be showing the Benefits family around the Dordogne looking to buy a house with a pool and some gîtes for 15,000 euros.

They can't speak French but they want to fully integrate into French life and intend to learn French in the first week when they arrive. Their three teenage kids will move just before doing their GCSE exams but of course they will slot in just fine at Lycee and getting their BAC.

Mr benefits will supplement the gite income by becoming a roofer. Although he has no experience in roofing he can spell the word 'roof'. Which is the only qualification you need in the Dordogne. Mrs Benefits will become AE hairdresser. She can't cut or spell the word 'hair' but that is fine because all British expat hairdressers in the Dordogne can't either.

I will introduce them to another British family who run a successful gîte complex to offer advice. They managed to rent out one of their gîtes for a week two years ago. They also are a roofer and a hairdresser. They will offer advice on buying UK food, working on the black, and how to drive legally in France a black range rover sport with a personalised UK number plate with no MOT.

So I will show them three dumps. Dump 1, Dump 2 and the dump. All British owned, vacant and have been on sale since 2003.

A very unique episode methinks.

Be sure to point out all the bars and restaurants in their nearest town as that seems to be a priority for the morons that appear on the show.

I've never seen this stuff as I don't have UK tv, but if these programmes are so bad, how come everyone seems to watch them? :?

Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth ;)
