I declare so I'm not familiar with the recent paper forms. But I think they rearranged the forms when they started prélèvement à la source and moved a lot of information on 2047 and other income which cannot be taxed at source is now reported separately on 2042C.

I think 2042CK is just the printed version of 2042C.

Government pensions should be declared in Boxes 1AL/1BL 'Pensions de source étrangère avec crédit d’impôt égal à l’impôt français' and in Section 8 'Divers', Box 8TK from 2047 section 6 REVENUS IMPOSABLES OUVRANT DROIT À UN CRÉDIT D’IMPÔT ÉGAL À L’IMPÔT FRANÇAIS and not in 1AH etc from 2047 8 REVENUS EXONÉRÉS RETENUS POUR LE CALCUL DU TAUX EFFECTIF.

What is the definition of a Government pension please? Old age or other?

Made a mistake on original post. It is usually form 2047k that I complete regarding pensions, that is the pink form so I have no idea why they sent me the 2042ck this year.

The only reference to the 2042CK i can find is the "pro" version which I think LD was on about.

The k versions are just the printed versions.

If you look at 2047 you will see some of the various sections tell you, on the very RHS, to put the resulting figures on 2042C. as a result, I suspect all those who get a 2047 will also get a 2042C

The pink form 2047k arrived today and the section where you put UK pensions in section 1 - 12 is still there but has the word CADRE 1 after it (box 1), not sure what that means. I assume reading the notes that 2042 CK section 1 "Pensions Exoneres" (1AH) has to be completed for UK government pensions which are taxed in the UK then transfer that figure to the form 2042 K as usual into box 1AL and 1BL as usual.

The CADRE refers to the relevant section in the notes which go with 2047.

Le cerfa 2042 C PRO ci-dessus est le formulaire utilisable pour la déclaration de l'an dernier. Il s'agit de la version cerfa 11222*22. La nouvelle version du formulaire 2042 C PRO (cerfa 11222*23) sera normalement mise en ligne au mois d'avril 2021.
