I didn't know about this until this morning and it's such a shock, but not really a total surprise. Heaven only knows how many hours per day Susan, Brian and James must have clocked up between them. Thanks to each of you.

I've enjoyed this forum on so many levels, from advice on sorting out tax returns, swapping/sharing horsey info, and learning about important French-related admin changes to mutual support through these past difficult months. Not to mention the diversion of making multiple posts every day on the puzzle threads.

I hope someone with the knowledge will be able to set up something similar where we can all meet up again.

A la prochaine ...................... :D

Just read this post this morning.
I have really cherished being part of this forum, learned a lot, laughed a lot, picked up some very useful advice, and sometimes, especially in the last year or so of no human contact, my morning visits have been a reminder that people are still out there, living their lives.
I am going to miss it so much.
Thank you so much ATS and mysty for keeping it going as long as you have in the face of all the adversity and hassle. I wish you all the best in the future.

My experience of WDIF has alwys been pleasant and good natured unlike (unfortunately) some of the activity seen on here. Let"s hope it continues and that the awkward squad don't join. :(

Survive France, Way Down in France and Complete France already exist and have lots of useful stuff but lacking a sense of humour, unlike TNFF - IMO ;)

Ouch! I didn’t see this coming. What now I wonder? For me, even though my memory is going I do remember to look on here sometimes.
AND I do remember meeting Sue and Brian and Demon!
Pity, great pity. I don’t post much I know, but it has been a way for me to be in contact with some English speakers! However I wish you all the best and hope all goes well with you…
