It's easy with Windows 10, go to settings> personalisation>lock screen and change the screen saver settings so that it does a slide show. I give it a folder with pictures in and away it goes using a random selection.
Thanks Spectre - That sounds simple enough for me to follow and give it a go :) :) :)

From the Lake District to another lake, in Paris. Walking from the new museum "Fondation Louis Vuitton" through the Bois de Boulogne in the direction of le Chateau de la Muette (OECD) you can't miss this popular attraction. This time the silence of a Japanese painting:

Whenever I'm on my laptop the browser's open, so no reason to have a particular desktop background as I don't see the desktop. The actual one is the below.

I have never had a screensaver but I like all the ones that I have seen here.

Actually come to think of it on my very first machine, a 386, back in the days when a screensaver was really needed for the VDU's I had what would today be called an animated GIF called Johnny Castaway. A desert island that would move around the screen with a scruffy unshaven bloke wearing tattered clothes wandering around aimlessly scratching his backside waiting for something to wash up.

Or maybe it was a dream because now I am living that dream

That was very different to the one I had, nowhere near enough backside scratching, the story ended with him being rescued by a party boat full of totty, he partied with them, got trollied and swam back to the island to show off, fell asleep & woke up with a hangover & they had gone.

It"s working great - I'm using it for the desktop background in stretch format with a different picture every 30 minutes -Some look good and others not so much so l take them off the loop and will try others. Here are a few that work really well:
