Selling a piece of land

Post by manonthemoon2 »

Can anyone advise what we need to do to sell about half of our land?

We have a new build house one end of an acre of land.

We were told when we bought the land it had a CU for 2 houses. However that was 12 years ago so not sure if we would need to reapply?

Please could anyone give a step by step guide of what needs to be done?

Go to the Mairie and check what the land is classed as.
It can change but will more than likely be the same.
If it's constructable you can sell it off as building land.

Once done with the Maire do we then get the geometric people in to measure up?

One problem I can see is that our water meter is on the bit of land we want to sell. We would have to get that changed.
