Re: Jack Charlton RIP
Have been my through football memorabilia today and have found a signed copy of his autobiography and also a signed menu from a Sporting Lunch I went to back in 1996 with Jack, Nobby Stiles, Gordon Banks and Wilf McGuinness. Can't believe I met him at least three times and didn't remember.

Re: Jack Charlton RIP
Whatever you say about the DM they did a very good coverage of his funeral today:

Ashington is a small ex- mining village in Northumberland, not far from the small town I grew up in with the same ethos.
Our current relative prosperity was built on the hard work of people from this background.

Re: Jack Charlton RIP
On the BBC news this morning there was a piece about a documentary on Jack's life. The excerpts looked good. Will be available soon to buy and download.
