I understand dry
I also have had no rain for weeks
What is this watering thing of which you speak?

We have been on a total ban for the best part of 3 months.

Things are so bad that for the last 24 months there has been a ban on all new buildings in the commune because the water supply cannot cope. That ban has just been lifted because a mains supply from the Rhone is being installed and should be in place before any project gets built. In total about 50km of pipework but I would think the actual link in is significantly less.

I can't remember the last time it rained here but the field seems to be on steroids and wants cutting at least weekly. Its not getting it. Petrol's too expensive for that rate of cutting.
A badly run democracy is now no better than a badly run communist or socialist state.
