As occasionally happens I have hit a snag with the EDF website. Trying to solve it by using the English speaking helpline but an automated message tells me the number is no longer in service. The alternative number is spoken so quickly that I can not write it down quickly enough even though it is in English. I had to listen to the message five times to get the number successfully copied. When I try the number there is a message in French which is also too fast to understand.
Does anyone have the latest English helpline number? Thanks in advance.

That's it. Very close to the one I listened to five times and thought I had it correct.
Anyway, all sorted now. Not too long a wait for a live body at the other end who helped me to pay the facture and said she would report the issue to the technical bods.
A badly run democracy is now no better than a badly run communist or socialist state.
